KY Lake Speedway Website Design Launch

Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway is a 3/8 mile racing track located in Calvert City, KY. The speedway staff are pleased to announce their new speedway website design to the motorsports community. Please point your browsers to http://www.KYLakeSpeedway.com to browse the new website.

Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway packs the stands full of excited dirt racing fans. Every Saturday night beginning in March the fans gather to watch full body stock cars as well as open wheel racing action. They come to be entertained and that’s what dirt racing is here to offer to race fans of any age.

The 3/8 mile clay oval is conveniently located off of Interstate 24 in Calvert City, Kentucky. The corners are banked at a steep 30 degrees. The track also features 15 degrees of banking support on the straightaways connecting to the high banked corners. All of this is a combination resulting in high speed side-by-side racing action.

UMP KidModz Racing Series Driver Website Launch

Jacob Franklin is a UMP KidModz Racing Series driver. He drives for a team based out of Pinckneyville, IL. The now 7th grade Pinckneyville Junior High School student began his racing career in 2013.

Jacob Franklin started his racing career at 11 years old in the quarter midget division. He picked up a clean sweep in his first event, winning both the heat and feature race at Southern Illinois Center just two years ago.

In 2014, Jacob Franklin joined the traveling UMP KidModz Racing Series. The series features full body dirt modified cars with limited horsepower. A gap series between that and full power UMP Modifieds. Franklin finished out the 2014 season 3rd in the UMP KidModz Racing Series standings.

In 2015, Jacob Franklin Racing will again be following the KidModz Racing Series schedule. The 13 year old will be fighting for a championship against the future stars of the UMP Modified and Late Model series.

About Josh White
Josh White is acknowledged as one of the most exciting up and comers in the ARCA Racing Series, Josh is regularly called “White Lightning” by those close to him due to his speed on track as well as his determination and endless drive to succeed. Josh began racing at a very young age in anything that would “go fast”.

He quickly got up to speed racing in 2007, racing IHRA Street Modified with four wins at Kanawha Valley Motorsports Park designed to emphasize driver skill over car preparation.

After winning regularly in 2007, Josh stepped up a class to IHRA Modified in 2009 capturing five wins at Kanawha Valley Motorsports Park.

In 2010, Josh White enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve where he underwent training, testing his limits both mentally and physically. Until this day, Josh is currently still enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and has so far nearly five years of service and is in the Reserves.

After racing and competing against the best driver in his class, Josh began exploring other opportunities to compete at a higher level to keep him challenged. In 2011, Josh set his sight on stock car racing after being back from U.S. Marine Corps training and moved into IMCA Crate Late Models earning five top fives and one win at I-77 Raceway.

In 2012, Josh White made a big jump to the ARCA Series, where he began testing with multiple teams to prepare for his future. Josh’s official rookie season started in the ARCA Series at Toledo Speedway where he gained a 13th place finish experiencing engine and communication issues during the race event.

August 2013 saw Josh signing with an ARCA Team where he will compete in select ARCA events and continue the persuit of his dreams. Josh’s aggressive, banzai on the edge driving style has made him not only a crowd favorite, but one of the drivers getting the most media exposure.

Impact Race Gear, provider of top quality racing shirts and headwear, is debuting a new racing gear website design. The site is intended to give race teams, tracks, sanctioning bodies and manufacturers an informed look into the products offered, such as the popular FIRST Series and X-Series racing shirts.

Impact RaceGear, founded in 2013, had a successful inaugural year working with many top regional and national race teams such as Conley Motorsports, Jackie Boggs Racing, Eddie Carrier, Jr. Racing, and Josh McGuire Racing just to name a few.
