Another year has gone by and it’s time to re-launch my arts website, see it via http://ShaneWalters.net

My design direction is constantly evolving. These days it’s pointed in the modern minimalist direction.

Busy things make my head hurt.On the computer, in my house or in my life. I try to simplify everything. It’s easier on the brain.

I don’t generally get to move websites in this modern minimalist direction because customers generally want busy and/or flashy websites. I love rebuilding my own website above all others because I can point it in any direction I choose.

Today is my birthday. I’m getting old. I know because now I do a thorough ring finger search before I even open my filthy flirty mouth at a female.

25, it’s depressing. I still have so many things I want to do. I will do them. I’m exhausted just looking forward because I see how many projects I have ahead.

I’ve been developing a lot of new things in the arts department. I haven’t had much time to touch a paintbrush other than one’s powered by a computer mouse.

However, in the next few months I’ll get a chance to finish a painting I’ve been working on and show you my new painting style. It’s different than my other paintings and I’m excited to finish the work and move on to the next one.

My personal website has become a hub for all divisions of my work including website design, writing, photography and painting. I will keep it up to date throughout the year with the latest info.

For you racing fans, I haven’t stepped into a race car other than a digital one, via iRacing.com since 2011. This year however the plan is to rent a dirt late model and go racing at a few one off events. I’m too busy to do much more than that. The racing section of my site, while vacant, I hope to fill in the coming months.

(MARCH 18TH, 2014) Brandon ONeil Racing is set to debut their 2014 dirt late model machine at Carolina Speedway on March 21st. Introduced to racing at a young age, racing has become something ONeil cannot live without. The North Carolina driver has picked up over 500 wins in various stages of the racing ladder.

Brandon ONeil began his career on asphalt in 1/4 midgets where he became the Syracuse, New York track champion. He later moved to race on dirt with the World Karting Association where he picked up another championship at Woodleaf. This led him to his current position as dirt late model driver, a seat he’s sat in since age 22.

Brand ONeil Racing will unload at two North Carolina tracks in 2014. Carolina Speedway and East Lincoln Speedway both hold reservations on the 2014 O’Neil Racing schedule.

Davenport Speedway Website Design Launched

(MARCH 9TH, 2014) The Davenport Speedway website design has been refreshed top to bottom. The Iowa dirt track operated by Drt Trak Racing Incorporated will drop the green flag on a brand new racing season in April. The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series is set to host the opening round on the famed speedway April 11th.

On April 18th, national stars of the dirt late model racing scene will fill the paddock. The Midwest Sanction Showdown features a combo series event with sanctions from the Cornbelt Clash, MARS and ALMS Series. The dirt late models will dust off the 1/2 mile track in front of packed Davenport Speedway grandstands.

Located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, IA you’ll find a semi-banked ¼ mile speedway wrapped by a ½ mile track. Fans are entertained every Friday night by sideways dirt racing action in five divisions.

Weekly racing classes include IMCA Late Model, IMCA Modified, IMCA Sport Modified, Street Stock and 4-Stocks. These classes will compete for points every Friday, with the exception of a few special event races, through August. The All-Star Classic which will close out the 2014 season, is set for September 20th on the half mile.
