Davenport Speedway Website Design Launched

(MARCH 9TH, 2014) The Davenport Speedway website design has been refreshed top to bottom. The Iowa dirt track operated by Drt Trak Racing Incorporated will drop the green flag on a brand new racing season in April. The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series is set to host the opening round on the famed speedway April 11th.

On April 18th, national stars of the dirt late model racing scene will fill the paddock. The Midwest Sanction Showdown features a combo series event with sanctions from the Cornbelt Clash, MARS and ALMS Series. The dirt late models will dust off the 1/2 mile track in front of packed Davenport Speedway grandstands.

Located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, IA you’ll find a semi-banked ¼ mile speedway wrapped by a ½ mile track. Fans are entertained every Friday night by sideways dirt racing action in five divisions.

Weekly racing classes include IMCA Late Model, IMCA Modified, IMCA Sport Modified, Street Stock and 4-Stocks. These classes will compete for points every Friday, with the exception of a few special event races, through August.  The All-Star Classic which will close out the 2014 season, is set for September 20th on the half mile.

(FEBRUARY 27th, 2014) Lawson Racing is a 3rd generation racing team. They are currently gearing up for another sprint car season. Dusty and Kevin Lawson will debut in 2014 at River Cities Speedway. Darin Henderson Dirt LM Racing Website

(FEBRUARY 20th, 2014) Darin Henderson Racing is fresh off a strong 2013 season and now looks forward to 2014. The team is excited to debut their dirt LM racing website ahead of the dirt late model season. Darin Henderson Racing, mirroring last season, will again compete for championship points at dirt tracks in both Maryland and Virginia.

The previous season, Darin Henderson Racing jumped right out of the gate with big results. The dirt late model team picked up a win at the Potomac Speedway debut. As the season continued so did the success. 2013 came to a close and Darin Henderson Racing sat 2nd at Potomac Speedway and 3rd at Winchester Speedway.

Now, a new season is set to begin March 21st at Potomac Speedway. Darin Henderson Racing will slide into the 3/8 mile high banks in Budds Creek, MD hoping to come out with another victory.

The following day the team will load up and do it all over again at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, VA. Darin Henderson Racing didn’t pick up a win at Winchester in 2013 but regularly ran in the top 5. This year they hope to locate victory lane in Virginia.

(FEBRUARY 13th, 2014) XR-1 Pro Cup Team website for Walker Motorsports debut. The team is currently seeking interest to fill their drivers seat. Chris Walker runs a driver development team supplying quality equipment via a possible race winning car. They give you to opportunity to run up front on the Pro Cup tour.

In 2013, driver Stacy Puryear piloted the Walker Motorsports machine in three regular season events and an additional three in the championship rounds. At Southern National Motorsports Park he gave the team the pole and brought the car home just outside of the top 5. The team gave Puryear an average start of 3rd. Puryear led 59 laps thoughout the 2013 season.

Chris Walker Motorsports is ready to put you behind the wheel of a Pro Cup Series racecar and give you a chance to win $8,000.00 every race! You will be given the opportunity to drive at various racetracks from Alabama – Tennessee – Virginia – South Carolina & North Carolina.
